In ice-cream coloured coat dresses, beautiful hats and dazzling pieces of jewellery, the fashion on display over the Jubilee weekend was suitably regal and very celebratory - while also providing some top-notch wedding inspiration for the months ahead. Here, we pick our fabulous favourites…

For Thursday’s balcony appearance, the Queen opted for a dove blue Angela Kelly Charmelaine coat, embellished with a scallop-shaped pearl and diamante trim around the neckline and worn with a matching hat with a turned-up brim.

The Duchess of Cornwall chose a summery dress featuring pale blue ribbon-like stripes by her favourite designer, Bruce Oldfield on Thursday. This she wore with a coordinating pale blue wide-brimmed hat, pearl drop earrings and her favourite four-strand pearl necklace.

The Duchess of Cambridge re-wore a white coat dress by Alexander McQueen - one that she had previously been photographed in at a G7 reception - with a navy and white Philip Treacy hat. In a touching tribute, she wore sapphire drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana, and a sapphire necklace.

Princess Charlotte, 7, looked lovely in a £77 blue chiffon dress embellished with a bow on one shoulder, by the Portuguese label, Patachou.
Prince Louis wore a sailor suit that was first seen some 37 years earlier on his father, Prince William, for the Trooping of the Colour in 1985.

The Countess of Wessex looked pretty in a pale pink checked coat dress and matching pink hat, which she wore with simple silver earrings and a necklace adorned with a single pearl.
Lady Louise Windsor wore a darker pink floral dress by Reiss and a white jacket and a simple cloche-style hat with a smaller brim which she borrowed from her mother.

The Duchess of Cambridge in a slim-fit buttery yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead which she wore to St Paul’s, topped off with a beautiful rose-adored hat by Philip Treacy. Kate also borrowed the Bahrain pearl drop earrings, which she was last seen in at Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021.

The Duchess of Sussex’s entire outfit from her hat (which was designed by Stephen Jones) down to her heels were Dior haute couture in a colour the brand describes as ‘greige’. Her earrings are from Canadian brand Birks; she also wore a Cartier Love bracelet that retails at £5,950.
